As the firm’s litigation team continues to expand, this is a standout opportunity for a junior lawyer to develop litigation expertise under the guidance of an experienced, hands-on senior practitioner.

About the position:

Our client is looking for a Litigation Lawyer with around 3 years of post-admission experience to support a senior litigator across a range of complex and rewarding matters. This role offers excellent exposure to both commercial litigation and employment law disputes, providing a strong platform for future career growth.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on:

• Commercial disputes, including contractual breaches and commercial torts
• Restraint of trade and workplace relations matters
• Employment disputes, including unfair dismissal and general protections claims
• Drafting court documents, pleadings, and client advice
• Attending court and preparing matters for hearing or settlement
• Working closely with clients and supporting strategic legal planning

You'll receive consistent, high-quality mentoring and enjoy genuine involvement in files — not just back-end support. This is an ideal role for a junior lawyer ready to take their litigation career to the next level.

Key Requirements:

• 3 years PAE, ideally with exposure to both commercial and employment litigation (private practice experience needed)
• Strong drafting and legal research skills
• Confidence in managing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work with some autonomy, while being open to guidance
• Admitted in QLD and holding (or eligible for) a current practising certificate
• A proactive and collaborative approach to legal practice
