Position Purpose
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic marketing and communication initiatives that drive brand awareness, business growth, and customer engagement across multiple channels. The role requires advanced analytical, strategic, and creative expertise to interpret market data, identify opportunities, and optimise marketing performance in alignment with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research & Analysis
Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to identify emerging opportunities and market gaps.
Analyse demographic and psychographic data to inform targeted marketing strategies.
Prepare and present analytical reports to senior management, highlighting insights, risks, and recommendations.
2. Marketing Strategy Development
Plan, design, and coordinate multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with business growth objectives.
Develop brand positioning, value propositions, and key messaging for target audiences.
Advise management on product development, pricing, promotional tactics, and distribution strategies.
Translate market research findings into actionable strategies and campaign concepts.
3. Campaign Planning & Execution
Manage end-to-end marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, content marketing, social media, events, and partnerships.
Oversee creative briefing, copywriting, and content alignment to ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
Coordinate external agencies and suppliers involved in campaign delivery.
Evaluate campaign performance metrics (ROI, CPL, CPA, conversion rate) and adjust strategy accordingly.
4. Brand & Communication Management
Develop and maintain corporate brand identity and ensure consistent representation across all communication materials.
Produce marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and case studies for B2B and B2C audiences.
Liaise with media, industry partners, and professional associations to enhance brand presence and public relations.
5. Digital Marketing & Analytics
Oversee paid and organic digital marketing efforts including Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and marketing automation tools.
Utilise CRM systems and analytics platforms to monitor customer journeys and improve conversion rates.
Report regularly on digital performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
6. Business Development Support
Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing efforts with lead generation and client acquisition goals.
Contribute to market forecasts and strategic planning sessions with leadership.
Prepare submissions, proposals, and presentations for strategic partners and prospective clients.
Key Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer psychology, and data analytics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High proficiency in digital marketing tools (CRM, Google Analytics, Ads Manager, HubSpot, etc.).
Analytical and creative thinking with attention to market trends and business performance.
Project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in strategic marketing, campaign management, or brand development.
Desirable: Experience in healthcare, Disability and Aged Care will be preferred.
