Wheatbelt Ag Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and self-driven Broadacre Cropping Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day farming operations across properties in Narembeen and Karlgarin.

You’ll take ownership of all aspects of broadacre cropping — from seeding through to harvest — managing staff, equipment, and seasonal schedules to achieve high-quality results. This hands-on position suits someone who thrives on autonomy, takes pride in operational excellence, and enjoys a variety of responsibilities throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan and manage seeding, spraying, and harvest programs.

· Make daily operational decisions to optimise efficiency.

· Lead and supervise seasonal staff.

· Oversee machinery operation and maintenance schedules.

· Operate and maintain modern farm machinery and equipment.

· Manage chemical and fertiliser applications.

· Promote a safe, efficient, and productive workplace.

About You

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in broadacre cropping operations management or similar.

· Strong leadership and communication skills.

· Mechanically minded with hands-on experience maintaining equipment.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently.

· Experience with self-propelled boomsprays highly desirable.

· Current driver’s licence (HR preferred).
