About the Role
Join a friendly, customer-focused team at Clark Rubber, supporting our national store network and online customers from our Hawthorn Support Office.
As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, provide accurate information on products and orders, and help ensure every interaction reflects Clark Rubber’s commitment to excellent service.
This casual role is available until 31 March 2026 and offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to work in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver professional and timely service to both internal and external customers.
Respond to enquiries received via phone, email, and social media.
Provide accurate information about products, services, and online orders.
Assist in resolving customer issues, escalating complex matters where required.
Maintain detailed and accurate customer records.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
About You
You take pride in helping customers and enjoy working as part of a professional team. You’re organised, reliable, and thrive in a busy environment.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
1–2 years’ experience in customer service (retail or eCommerce preferred).
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
Experience using CRM or online store systems (Shopify experience highly regarded).
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
Hours & Availability
Monday to Friday: Minimum 10am – 3pm
Saturday work may be required
Pay & Benefits
Weekday rate: $35.15 per hour
Saturday rate: $56.24 per hour
Supportive, team-oriented environment at our National Support Office in Hawthorn.
