Multicultural Australia is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic People, Culture and Safety team on a fixed-term contract until 30 January 2026 with an immediate start. This role is ideal for a motivated HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, supporting leaders and employees across all aspects of the employee lifecycle ,from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, safety, and staff development.

Our Team :

You’ll be part of a collaborative, values-driven team that works closely across the organisation to deliver practical, people-focused HR solutions. The People, Culture and Safety team is known for its strong partnerships with leaders, its commitment to continuous improvement, and its shared purpose of creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering workplace for all employees.

In this role, you will:

Provide practical HR advice on policy, Awards, the Enterprise Agreement, and employment legislation.

Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, ensuring an inclusive and positive employee experience.

Support Workplace Health and Safety initiatives and champion a proactive safety culture.

Review and improve HR policies, systems, and processes to enhance compliance and efficiency.

Contribute to HR projects that drive engagement, diversity, and wellbeing.

Oversee HR systems, records management, and staff training compliance through our online learning platform.

Qualifications and Skills required:

Possession of tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology or related discipline;

Strong cross-cultural experience and awareness

Experienced in the use and administration of contemporary HR Management Systems

National Police Clearance Check

Possession of, or willingness and eligibility to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Suitability Card in accordance with the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000), and

Additional Desirable Skills:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a HR generalist role.

Experience in the not-for-profit sector, process improvement and program management.
