THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Graduate Contracts Administrator (or third-year student) to launch their career with a company that values curiosity, learning, and capability.
You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of commercial construction and facilities-management projects - from tendering and procurement through to contract administration and delivery.
Working alongside the directors and project team, you’ll contribute to successful project outcomes while developing the skills to progress into a full Contracts Administrator role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with contract administration and document control - prepare and manage subcontract agreements and purchase orders; maintain accurate records and project documentation.
Support budgeting, cost control, and variations - monitor project costs, assist with progress claims, and help manage variations and invoicing.
Contribute to procurement - help source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes, and participate in negotiating and awarding procurement packages.
Assist with estimating and tendering - complete take-offs, bills of quantities, and compile tender submissions under guidance.
Collaborate with site and project teams - coordinate procurement and delivery schedules and attend site meetings to understand project delivery.
Maintain project registers - track RFIs, variations, and approvals; assist with handover documentation and project close-out.
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
Tertiary qualification (or near completion) in Construction/Project Management or related field.
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and multitasking under time constraints.
Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Genuine passion for construction and a commitment to a long-term career in the industry.
Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with willingness to learn.
Exposure to construction (internships, site work, or cadet roles) - preferred, not essential.
Basic software proficiency (MS Office; familiarity with Procore/Bluebeam/Buildxact a plus).
