Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facility Manager to lead a supportive and high-performing team at a medium-sized residential aged care facility. This permanent role is open to candidates from both clinical (RN) and non-clinical backgrounds, with full clinical governance support available if needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staffing, rostering, and budget management.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care and support to residents, maintaining compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Work closely with Clinical Managers and interdisciplinary teams to oversee care planning, clinical governance, and operational workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and quality assurance activities.
• Foster a positive workplace culture that values collaboration, professional development, and person-centred care.
• Oversee resident admissions, eligibility, and engagement with families to ensure exceptional service and support.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in residential aged care or related healthcare/operational settings within Australia.
• Clinical background (RN) preferred but not essential; candidates from non-clinical backgrounds with strong leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing budgets, staff, and operations in a regulated environment.
• Commitment to delivering person-centred care and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Nursing, Business, or Aged Care leadership) or equivalent experience.
• Queensland Driver’s Licence and valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or Police Check.
