About the Role Our client is seeking experienced seeking 2 x Vertical Fill Form Seal or Bagging Machines operators to join the team. Roles are available on both day shift (6am-2pm) and afternoon shift (2pm-10pm). As a Bagging Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for running high-speed packing machinery, ensuring food products are packed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assemble weighheads and machines associated with packing operations
• Conduct thorough pre operational checks on weighheads and all associated machines once assembled
• Checks on any loose parts (nuts, bolts etc..) to ensure product safety
• Feeding film through the bagging machines
• Check all temperature and sealing time settings
• Using, selecting and setting up recipes on the system
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime
• Complete shutdowns, post-operational checks, and prepare product for release
• Disassemble machinery, complete line clearance, and set up cleaning cycles
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a VFFS Operator or Packing Machine (pro-pack) Operator in food manufacturing
• Strong technical ability in operating, setting, and troubleshooting automated machinery
• Knowledge of WHS, hygiene, and food safety compliance
• Physically fit and confident with manual handling tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet production targets
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
