About the Opportunity:

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team in a permanent full-time role.

This is a rewarding leadership opportunity where you’ll oversee a team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll be responsible for clinical oversight and case management for a group of customers with complex health needs, playing a key role in promoting best practice and supporting positive health outcomes.

In addition to guiding your team through orientation, training, and supervision, you’ll provide direct nursing care as required, maintain high standards of documentation, and collaborate with families, allied health professionals, and external medical providers. This role offers the chance to lead with purpose in a supportive and high-performing environment.

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide clinical oversight and case management for up to 20 customers.
  • Lead and support a team of approximately 25 Registered and Enrolled Nurses
  • Deliver direct nursing care as required, including wound care, respiratory and airway management, bowel and urinary care, and medication administration
  • Coordinate site orientation, clinical competency-based training, and ongoing supervision
  • Promote best practice and sound clinical decision-making
  • Oversee and maintain high standards of health documentation
  • Liaise with families, allied health professionals, and external medical providers to ensure optimal health outcomes
  • Participate in recruitment, incident review, and policy development as required.
  • Relieve the Senior Clinical Nurse when needed.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the holistic health needs of our customers are met, while fostering a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team environment.

Benefits:

Our employees are deeply connected with our vision and work passionately to support our customers in achieving their goals.

Along with a caring and values-driven culture, we have some great benefits:

  • Non-profit organisation salary packaging benefits up to a maximum of $18,550
  • 3 wellness days (pro-rata)
  • Leave loading, paid parental leave, return from parental leave bonuses and an employee assistance program
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • A genuine and supportive team culture
