Looking for a rewarding part-time role where you can really make a difference? We're looking for a friendly, organised and resourceful person to be the new Administrative Support Officer at the Warrnambool Neighbourhood and Community Centre (WNCC). Part-time, flexible role offering a minimum of 15 paid hours, working with a happy and dedicated team.
About the job
The Administration Support Officer coordinates and looks after the administration of WNCC, with direction from the Centre Manager. As the first point of contact for many of our volunteers and visitors, you'll be the face of WNCC.
Key responsibilities include:
• Front of house reception and greeting visitors
• Records management
• Administrative support for program delivery and organisational operations
• Acting as Program Coordinator for some activities
• Supervision of Members and Volunteers, including maintaining Membership and Volunteer records
For more detail on the duties and conditions, visit www.wncc.org.au
About you
We're looking for someone who's experienced in dealing with the public, ideally in a community, healthcare or other service setting. Experience in administration is required, preferably in a not-for-profit setting where tracking performance and reporting to funding bodies and donors is an important task. Experience managing volunteers will also be valued.
As you'll often be working independently, you'll bring initiative and problem-solving skills, while working as part of our team. At WNCC, we all help each other out and chip in to get things done, supported by our processes and procedures and guided by our Centre Manager and Board.
You'll need to show how your own approach to life aligns with our values and purposes. A service-oriented approach is essential, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and valued when engaging with our Centre.
A Working With Children Certificate is essential and a police check will be undertaken prior to appointment.
