$55 per hour + 15% night loading

Join a leading FMCG site on night shift and play a vital role in optimising equipment performance and supporting continuous improvement.
We’re seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Kilcoy, working directly on a fast-paced food manufacturing site. This hands-on role focuses on preventative and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment optimisation. You'll also contribute to capex and improvement projects while working alongside production to ensure operational efficiency.

• $55/hr +15% night shift loading
• Stable night shift roster: 5 on / 4 off / 4 on / 5 off
• Night hours: 6:00pm – 4:00am
• Drive-in, drive-out to Kilcoy site

About the role:

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance with a strong focus on reliability
• Collaborate with production to enhance equipment performance
• Contribute to capex and continuous improvement projects
• Troubleshoot and prioritise urgent repairs
• Coordinate with contractors and internal departments
• Ensure all activities comply with WHS and site safety protocols

What you’ll need:

• Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical)
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing – beef processing desirable
• Q Fever vaccinated (or willing to obtain)
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Proven mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and ability to manage competing priorities
