Join Us in Shaping Queensland's Transport Future!
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for infrastructure planning and development? We're looking for a motivated leader to take on a pivotal role in managing development assessment and corridor management activities across the region.
As a key member of our team, you'll:
Lead and inspire a talented group of professional and technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Drive critical projects under the Planning Act 2016, Transport Infrastructure Act 1994, and other legislation, ensuring high technical standards and alignment with departmental goals.
Provide expert guidance on access to state-controlled roads, ancillary works, public
utility infrastructure, and encroachments—minimising impacts and supporting future transport needs.
Shape planning outcomes by contributing to statutory documents and inter-agency strategies, integrating land use with passenger and active transport networks.
Engage and collaborate with state agencies, local governments, utility providers, consultants, and community stakeholders to deliver consistent, effective corridor management.
Represent the department through professional advice, ministerial briefings, and correspondence on development and infrastructure matters.

This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Queensland's transport infrastructure while working in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Ready to lead the way? Apply now and help us build a connected, sustainable future.

Applications will remain current for 12 months.
