Pre-requisites:

Registered Nurse with general registration

Minimum 2 years’ experience in dentistry private practice (i.e prior experience as a dental assistant or receptionist)

No prior oral surgical assisting experience required - on the job training provided

Australian or New Zealand Passport

Driver’s license with access to own vehicle

Access to home office including desk, computer and quiet environment

Proficient in Excel / Gmail

Surgical Assisting:

Surgical set up

Surgical assisting

Sterilizing Instruments

Infection control

Patient re-assurance

Providing patient with medication prescribed by the dentist

Setting & packing up equipment

Tidying the dental surgery after use

Reception duties (work from home):

Organizing referral information (including X-rays and medical history documents) into patient folders

Booking patient's in for consultations and surgery

Sending appointment reminders by text / email

Prepare and emailing invoices

Answering patient enquiries

Marketing (work from home):

Updating or creating advertising or marketing content (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, promo videos etc)

Emailing prospective clinics our promotional information
