Registered Nurses (Full Time, Part Time and Casual)

Illawarra Diggers is seeking to appoint Registered Nurses into several roles, (Full Time, Part Time and Casual) ideally with experience in Aged Care, to join our dedicated team.

Minimum 6 months of aged care nursing experience is required for this position.

As we provide 24/7 RN coverage, we would consider applicants seeking regular afternoon or night shift as well as rotating shifts.

To be considered you will have:

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency(AHPRA)

Exceptional clinical leadership skills and knowledge.

Demonstrated experience in a similar role

A passion for working with older people

Ability to work in a professional team environment

A high level of written & oral communication and computer literacy

Basic email and internet skills are required as a minimum level of computer competency

Proficiency in advanced clinical software systems is essential for electronic documentation and patient management.

Experience with any aged care system or Manad/Connect4Care software is required

Strong interpersonal skills

Current First Aid Certificate

Ability to work rostered shifts and weekends

Valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa required.

It will also be an advantage to have:

Palliative experience

Wound management experience

Infection control management experience

Knowledge and experience in the aged care accreditation process.
