• Requires: Compliance with AS/NZS 3000:2007 wiring rules, proficiency in fault diagnosis of PLCs, MCCs and drives, and experience with preventative maintenance systems.
• Salary guide: $120,000 - $140,000 per annum.
• Location: south-western suburbs of Western Australia.

Your normal day will involve:

• Responding promptly to electrical breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving faults to ensure continuous production output.
• Conducting preventative maintenance, monitoring equipment to reduce failures and minimise operational downtime.
• Ensuring full compliance with electrical safety standards, AS/NZS wiring rules, and site safety protocols.
• Programming, fault finding and maintenance of PLCs, drives, and MCC control systems.
• Analysing root causes of faults to implement cost-effective improvements and equipment performance optimisation.
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices while assisting in engineering upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Taking part in standby and call-out duties to maintain 24/7 operational capability.
