Site Manager – Pre-School Projects (6-month contract role)

About the Company
Our client is a Project Management and construction specialist, renowned for quality, integrity and creating value for their clients. They are now seeking experienced Site Managers to help deliver a number of new pre-schools and refurbishment of existing pre-schools across Sydney.

The Role
They looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a contract-basis to take the project through to completion, which expected to completed mid-2026. These projects vary in scope, but would be either a refurbishment and upgrade of an existing school, or the construction of a new pre-school

They are looking for the people to get started within the next 2 weeks. These are contract roles which are expected to run through to mid-2026. There is the opportunity for these roles to go permanent for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all site activities on pre-school refurbishments or new-builds (project specific)

Strong stakeholder management and previous education experience essential

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.

Ensure strict compliance with WHS and quality standards.

Drive program and schedule to meet project deadlines.

Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and head office.

Proven track record as a Site Manager on projects with challenging programs

Work with internal team and clients

Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.

A focus on safety, quality, and program delivery.

Trade background or construction management qualifications preferred.

Skills & Experience

Trade background or construction management qualifications preferred

Strong knowledge of construction processes and finishing details.

Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.

Experience on government projects highly advantageous

Knowledge of local market

Professional, pro-active with a solution-focused attitude
