About the Role

Metro Boorowa is a locally operated Mobil fuel and convenience station providing a full range of Mobil fuels. Our site features B-Double access, a convenience store, restaurant/café, and truck parking, offering quality service and convenience to both locals and travellers.

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team to success. As the Retail Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the overall performance of the service station — ensuring efficient operations, great customer experiences, and compliance with safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day retail operations to ensure smooth and efficient store management.

Determine product range, stock levels, and service standards to meet customer and business needs

Plan and organise special displays, promotions, and advertising campaigns.

Monitor inventory, sales performance, and stock levels to ensure optimal product availability

Maintaining financial transactions

Drive sales by promoting store products and providing excellent customer service and product advice

Oversee budgeting and monitor store performance

Lead, train, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of service and safety

Ensure the store operates safely and complies with all workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations

Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualifications in Business or Retail Management

Minimum 1 year of experience in retail management or a related field

Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and retail software systems

Computer literacy including POS systems

Commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction

Excellent leadership and communication skills
