About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Retail Store Manager to oversee the operations of our Burwood store. The successful candidate will manage the daily operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with company and food safety standards, and drive sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant business activities.

· Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver high standards of customer service and product quality.

· Monitor store performance, sales targets, and KPIs; implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.

· Maintain accurate inventory levels; manage ordering, stock rotation, and supplier relationships.

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and food safety requirements.

· Manage cash handling, POS reconciliation, and daily banking.

· Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management.

· Plan and execute marketing and promotional campaigns in coordination with head office.

· Address and resolve customer feedback and complaints professionally.

Skills and Experience Required

· Minimum 1 years' experience in management or supervisory role within retail, food & beverage, or hospitality.

· Specific experience in tea and bakery retail operations is mandatory for this position.

· Diploma or higher qualification in business, retail management, or hospitality (or equivalent experience).

· Proven leadership and team management abilities.

· Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and stock management.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet operational deadlines.

· Knowledge of food safety and WHS compliance requirements.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
