Western Meat Exporters Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity for Finance Administrator

Western Meat Exporters Pty Ltd is located in Charleville, South West Queensland, approximately 750km west of Brisbane and is the largest employer in South West Queensland.

Charleville is the largest town in South West Queensland with excellent public and private schools, shopping centre, hospital, two private medical clinics along with many varied sporting groups too numerous to mention. Charleville also has flights to and from Brisbane 6 days per week, daily bus services ex Brisbane and passenger train services 2 days per week.

This role is responsible for providing effective and efficient Financial and Administrative services to support the business. They are responsible for the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping procedures and assisting with daily and monthly financial reporting to the Managing Director and the Company's designated Accountants.

The Finance Administrator will report directly to the Managing Director & Payroll Manager.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Bookkeeping. Predominately reconciliation of daily and monthly bank transactions for several entities in an accurate and timely manner

Reconcile and acquit grant and funding income (if and when required)

Payroll Tax and PAYG reporting

Invoicing and debtor management

Manage supplier payments and accounts payable

Maintaining financial files and records

Managing and reporting of Business Activity Statements (BAS)

Maintain and manage all relevant insurance policies

Manage company's liabilities (eg Insurance and Workcover Premiums and AMEX)

Provide reports to Managing Director and external Accountants as required

Relief Payroll Officer as required

Timesheet Data entry and daily and weekly payroll reporting to relevant Labour Hire stakeholders

Provide support to the Managing Director as required

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience with MS Office

Accounting Experience

Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Analytical Thinking

Problem Solving

Ability to multi skill

Experience with MYOB desirable but not essential

Current driver's license

Salary Package $70,000 to $80,000 Plus Super (salary negotiable dependent on experience)
