About the Role

As Finance Manager, you'll play a key leadership role overseeing all financial operations, accounting systems, and reporting across the organisation. Reporting to the CFO, you'll lead a team of finance professionals to ensure the integrity of financial transactions, compliance with relevant standards, and the delivery of accurate and insightful reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Direct Reports: Procurement Officer, Accountant (Expenditure), 3 x Finance Officers, Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full financial management function, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting
• Develop and monitor annual budgets and long-term financial plans aligned with organisational strategy
• Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Manage procurement and property management functions, ensuring cost-efficiency and compliance
• Lead financial governance, risk management, and compliance with accounting standards and legislation
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory reports and financial statements
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting efficiency
• Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
• Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to deliver key business outcomes
• Contribute to strategic projects, acquisitions, and financial due diligence as required

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• A degree in Finance, Commerce, or Business
• CPA or CA membership (essential)
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager (minimum 2 years) within a complex or service-oriented organisation
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to provide commercial insights and strategic financial advice
• Sound understanding of Australian accounting standards, tax legislation, and corporate governance
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
• A proactive, systems-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement
• Current NSW C-Class Driver's Licence
