Finance Manager – Financial Control / Reporting

This position is ideally suited to someone looking to make their first move from a consulting / Big 4 audit firm or from a Financial Services Group. A person, who thrives in a detail-orientated role with exposure to senior leadership and can deliver optimal policies and governance across finance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the business balance sheet and profit and loss activities
• Managing the delivery of financial reporting
• Creation and management of detailed policies across the finance function
• Development and ownership of robust governance frameworks to ensure adherence to finance policies
• Provide technical accounting support for new business initiatives, such as new products or features, with the opportunity to implement and monitor the financial control framework
• Delivery of detailed policy analysis and reporting for senior leadership to drive strategic business decisions
• Influence the direction of corporate structures based on business activities and required business outcomes
• Development of trusted relationships across the finance function, risk, technology, and external parties

Experience:

• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
• Experience within a financial control position ideally within the Financial Services industry
• Working knowledge of financial services or a large, complex corporate environment
• Excellent communicator with strong report writing capabilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders at differing levels of leadership
