This property developer focuses on high end luxury apartments in some of Sydney's most prestigious locations. With a long history of delivering quality projects and winning multiple awards, they have seen their pipeline grow and are constantly looking for their next challenge. As a result of this growth they are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee their finances in order to meet the increased demand from the owners and development managers.

Reporting to the Director, key duties will include:

Management of 1 direct report

Monthly reporting on a project and business level

Financial insights into performance, costs, and revenue

Support on new tenders and contract management

P&L management

Tax compliance in conjunction with their external accounting firm

Balance sheet and general ledger management

Cashflow forecasting

Budgeting and forecasting

WIP control and attendance at project control meetings

Development of new processes and procedures

You will be CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years accounting and finance experience as either a Company Accountant or Finance Manager ideally with exposure to the Construction/Development sector. Strong business management knowledge, all round technical accounting skills, team leadership, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a positive approach are all key.
