EMBARK NOW on a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker in our Home & Community services across the Central Coast Region and experience the satisfaction by supporting your clients to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment.

Primarily, these positions include community-based one-on-one support where you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and encourage independence by taking them out into the community.

*Note: whilst you will have a primary location during your onboarding (Croudace Bay), these roles will require travel to different clients throughout the Central Coast region.

Starting as a casual position, with 15 - 20 hours per week available, CPA encourages progression and there is a pathway to permanent part-time work in the future.

The Role:

Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. Your day-to-day may include:

  • Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
  • Encouraging client skill-building, independence, and decision-making
  • Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
  • Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
  • Building positive relationships with our clients - enriching their lives with connection

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

  • A Client-focused and growth mindset - you're open to learning and ready to make a difference
  • Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key!
  • NSW Driver's Licence (P2 or above)
  • Physical capability to support clients with mobility and transfers
  • Availability for a minimum of 3-4 days per week (15-20+ hours) - Available to work shifts between the hours of 9am and 4pm, including weekends
  • Comfortable travelling to all locations in the region including Wyong, Long Jetty & Umina
