The Role:
Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives.
We have current opportunities with a number of our SIL houses including North Lambton, Kotara, Stockton, Wallsend, and Cardiff.
Your day-to-day may include:
- Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
- Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making
- Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
- Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
- Building positive relationships with our clients
What You'll Bring:
We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities. You'll bring:
- Early mornings (6am - 9am)
- Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)
- Afternoons & evenings
- Awake overnights (10pm-6am)
- A can-do attitude and growth mindset - you're open to learning and ready to make a difference
- Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your passion & enthusiasm is key!
- NSW Driver's Licence (P2 or above)
- Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers
- Availability across a variety of shift times, including:
**Preference will be allocated to those with early morning availability as well as those that can work active awake overnight shifts.

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. We invest $5,000 in training in your first year. This includes:

- Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers
- Opportunity to acquire your Certificate III in Individual Support while working with us
