About the Role
We are currently seeking an Architectural Technician to join our Sydney studio. This is a key role contributing to the success of our projects and the continued growth of our team. You’ll work closely with talented design and technical professionals, supporting the delivery of complex and high-profile projects across the commercial and multi-unit residential sectors.
Reporting to the Studio Team Leader, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring design intent is maintained through every stage of project delivery—from documentation through to construction.
What You’ll Do
Prepare high-quality design development and construction documentation.
Produce accurate and coordinated technical drawings using industry-standard CAD software.
Liaise effectively with consultants and integrate their contributions into documentation.
Apply sound knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and systems.
Assist in the preparation of schedules and specifications.
Contribute to BIM coordination, ensuring compliance with protocols and quality standards.
Support quality assurance processes, addressing non-conformances in a timely manner.
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Building Design or qualification as an Architectural Technician.
Extensive experience in design development and construction documentation for large and complex projects.
Expert-level proficiency in CAD software and strong working knowledge of BIM methodologies.
Comprehensive understanding of building codes, standards, and construction systems.
Proven ability to produce documentation that upholds design intent and technical accuracy.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
Strong organisational ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney.
Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 per annum (plus superannuation).
