About the role

We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant to join our new up-and-coming accounting firm in our Bella Vista, NSW office. This full-time role will play a key part in supporting the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements

Taxation, including but not limited to: BAS returns, individual tax returns, business taxation, tax planning, etc

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, legal standards, and internal policies

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing new systems or technologies

What we're looking for

Recognised professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA)

Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
