Central Coast Sports College (CCSC) specialises in providing innovative educational and sport programs to student athletes from Kindergarten to Year 12. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for CCSC student athletes to attempt challenging and new experiences within a safe environment that will develop their independence and personal skills. This is achieved through a passion for creating an inclusive community, focused on developing a student athlete through sport and academia.

At CCSC, student athletes receive up to two hours of sport-specific training every day. To support this, we are searching for an exceptional Basketball Coordinator/Coach to join our Sport Department to deliver a high quality program that will develop and challenge our aspiring student athletes.

This is a full time position commencing at the start of 2026. This is more than a coaching job, it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the CCSC culture, where we advocate for student athletes' setting and achieving their personal goals.

Responsibilities (The Program and Logistics)

Program Development and Delivery: The development and delivery of an engaging and inspiring basketball program that merges elite skills training and physical education outcomes. Your role will include a mix of on-field delivery and crucial administrative and mentoring duties.

High Quality Sessions: Delivery of high quality, inclusive and well planned basketball sessions that improve student athlete movement and skill development.

Operational Coordination: Coordinating offsite games, training and excursions including excursion applications, risk assessments and bus bookings.

Effective Communication: provide periodical, timely and effective feedback to student athletes and their parents.

Recruitment: Be willing to offer assistance in recruiting student athletes to the College (recruit aspiring student athletes and take them to the top!).

Pathway Development: Develop and maintain relationships with relevant external organisations to offer exit pathways for student athletes and for recruitment purposes.
