About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Solar Sales Advisor to join our team at DQ Electrical Pty Ltd in Salisbury Plain, SA. As a Solar Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our industry-leading solar power systems to residential and commercial customers. This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our renewable energy business and make a positive impact on the environment.

What you'll be doing

Actively prospecting and generating new salesthorugh qualified lead sources.

Conducting in-home or on-site consultations with potential customers to understand their energy needs and present customised solar power solutions

Preparing detailed proposals and quotes for customers, ensuring they are accurate and aligned with their requirements

Negotiating and closing sales, while providing an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process

Maintaining a strong understanding of the latest solar technology, industry trends, and government incentives to effectively educate and advise customers

Collaborating with the installation team to ensure a seamless handover and customer satisfaction

Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets

What we're looking for

Proven sales experience, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and build trust

Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills to overcome objections and secure sales

A genuine passion for renewable energy and the environment

Familiarity with relevant government incentives and regulations in the solar industry

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
