Salary Range: $86,600 to $124,725 + Middle Leader Allowance $19,535 per annum + Superannuation
St Margaret Mary's College, Hyde Park is seeking an experienced and dedicated Curriculum Leader - The Arts. This is a full-time permanent teaching role with a fixed term appointment to the Middle Leader position. The role commences from 19 January 2025 the duration of the Middle Leader fixed term period is to 4 December 2026.
The Curriculum Leader supports the mission of St Margaret Mary’s College through leadership of the learning and teaching program by ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership in three dimensions: leadership of teaching and learning, human leadership and strategic leadership.
Guided by Catholic values, you’ll demonstrate authentic leadership that nurtures faith, compassion and community. Your ability to model integrity, foster relationships and create an inclusive, supportive environment will be key to the ongoing success of both students and staff.
To thrive in this role, you will be a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers and bring extensive classroom experience in the Arts, together with a deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements. You’ll pair that professional credibility with a proven ability to lead and mentor others, build collaborative teams and translate data into meaningful improvement. Most importantly, you’ll lead with integrity, model our Catholic ethos in practice, and be motivated by helping both students and staff flourish.
