About the Role:

An opportunity has opened for a Cost Accountant to join a leading manufacturing business on a 6-month contract.
Working closely with a Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting the production finance team and providing accurate cost information to help drive operational performance.

This role will suit someone hands-on and curious who's keen to learn how manufacturing costs really work, dig into data and make sense of what’s happening on the floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and report on manufacturing costs, variances, and production performance
• Support monthly management reporting and forecasting
• Maintain standard costing, bill of materials, and inventory accuracy
• Partner with operations and finance teams to improve cost visibility and processes

About You:

You might be an experienced Cost or Management Accountant, or perhaps an up-and-coming accountant ready to step into a manufacturing environment for the first time. Either way, you’ll be analytical, collaborative, and enjoy understanding the story behind the numbers.
