Our client provides services to the community, and they are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to play a key role in supporting their eCommerce and digital marketing strategy through data-driven decision-making.
In this role, you'll work collaboratively across marketing, digital, and customer experience teams to analyse performance, uncover trends, and deliver actionable insights that shape campaigns, enhance customer journeys, and optimise online performance.
You'll also be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data across a range of platforms to evaluate marketing effectiveness and eCommerce performance. As well as maintaining dashboards and reporting tools, delivering post-campaign analysis, and providing recommendations that influence digital strategy and customer experience enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse data from sources including Google Analytics (GA4), Magento, CRM systems, Power BI, email marketing, and social media platforms.
 - Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as traffic, conversion, AOV, ROI, CAC, CLV, and campaign performance.
 - Identify performance trends, opportunities, and risks across digital marketing channels and customer segments.
 - Deliver post-campaign analysis and collaborate with marketing and eCommerce teams to optimise performance.
 - Support A/B testing, CRO, and UX improvements through robust analytics and insight reporting.
 - Manage analytics tools, ensure data accuracy, and maintain compliance with privacy and data governance standards.
 - Liaise with digital agencies, platform providers, and internal teams to ensure accurate tracking and data integration.
 
To be successful, you will need:
- 2 + years' experience in a marketing analytics, digital analytics, or eCommerce data role.
 - Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and eCommerce KPIs.
 - Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), Power BI, Excel, and basic SQL.
 - Experience with campaign tracking, attribution modelling, and customer segmentation.
 - Excellent data visualisation and presentation skills - able to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
 - Experience working with marketing platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Mailchimp (or similar).
 
- Experience with Magento, DotDigital, or tag management tools (e.g. GTM) (Desirable).
 - Familiarity with data governance and privacy compliance practices (Desirable).
 - Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field (Desirable).
