The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self-funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. About the role

Reporting to the Senior Data & Reporting Analyst, the Data & Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's data capability.

The role will contribute to ongoing data governance, support the delivery of high-quality interactive dashboard reporting solutions, and assist in the development and maintenance of secure, scalable data repositories that enable evidence based decision making across the organisation.

About you

You're a proactive and detail-oriented professional ready to become a critical member of the IT & Facilities team. With a strong foundation in data analytics and reporting, you bring the following capabilities:

• Skilled in gathering, extracting, transforming, and analysing data from multiple sources utilising tools like SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake.
• Experienced in the development and maintenance of dashboards in Power BI
• Proven ability to support the design and implementation of reporting frameworks and data delivery systems
• Committed to upholding governance, data quality, and security standards across data platforms
• Capable of coordinating reporting tools, databases, and data pipelines in line with organisational standards
• Able to enhance the organisation's data capability by providing training and support
