Looking for an Experienced OT to join our Team as a Mobile Occupational Therapist (Contractor) !
Job Description
Provide mobile occupational therapy services to NDIS participants, Home Care Package clients, and private clients throughout the Greater Sydney Area.
Assess clients' needs, create and implement intervention plans, and evaluate therapeutic outcomes.
Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and personalized care.
Maintain thorough records of treatment plans and progress reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; additional language skill is a significant plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skilled in electronic documentation and case management software.
Experience
Experience in a mobile or community-based occupational therapy role.
Minimum 6-12 months of mobile or community-based occupational therapy experience required.
Experience or interest in working with pediatric populations is highly desirable but not required.
Experience in SIL/SDA Assessment is highly desirable but not required.
Minimum 6 months of experience working with NDIS participants required.
Additional Requirements
Professional indemnity insurance.
Current Working with Children Check.
Police clearance.
Australian Business Number (ABN) – candidates can apply for free if they do not already have one.
Candidates must hold any valid visa status to work in Australia.
Location Preference
While candidates from all locations are encouraged to apply, those based in Western Sydney or South West Sydney may find it more convenient given the proximity to the majority of our client locations. This is preferred but not a requirement.
