Active Physiotherapy Katherine is looking for the next independent Physiotherapist to provide top services to the Katherine community. Katherine is a centre of tourism, Defence, and agriculture in the Northern Territory. Most people will only see this part of Australia as 'Grey Nomads'.

Katherine is a vibrant town rich of history and indigenous culture. Top tourist site are close by, and Darwin only a few hours drive. There are many opportunities to stay active, with many sporting clubs of all codes always on the lookout for players. Health services in Katherine are appreciated by the local population.

The position is a sole practitioner position with support from the head-office and a doctoral degree physio with >35 years experience. Suitable candidates need a significant degree of independence, drive and skill. Manual Therapy is an important part of the service delivery, in addition to exercises prescription. Only clinic to use Shockwave Therapy. We have a fully equipped gym with Stott Pilates studio reformer, weights, Nohrd pulley etc. Additional skills such as dry needling/acupuncture will be beneficial.

The clinic is very busy. Protocols and procedures are in place to guarantee best patient/therapy outcomes, practitioner satisfaction, and business growth.

This is a very rewarding position and will see the right candidate earning a very high income. Package consists of base retainer/salary, free car, accommodation allowance/free accommodation, and bonuses including 12 months bonus, free gym membership, annual flights from/to closest capital city airport, Katherine Gorge helicopter flight, Katherine Gorge Cruise. Total package may exceed A$ 150K for the right candidate.
