ICT Business Analyst

FREO Australia (MADF PTY LTD) is a fast-growing Sydney-based retail chain. As we continue to expand across NSW, we’re looking for a talented ICT Business Analyst to help transform how technology supports our business.

As an ICT Business Analyst at FREO, you will play a key role in enhancing the company’s technology and data infrastructure to support retail operations, logistics, and customer engagement. You will work closely with management, store teams, and external vendors to analyse business processes, identify opportunities for system improvement, and implement practical technology solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyse and document business processes across retail operations, inventory, and customer experience.

· Identify technology improvements and drive implementation across stores and head office to improve store performance and operational efficiency.

· Work closely with management to formulate and document business requirements, ensuring system changes align with operational needs.

· Investigate, analyse and map existing processes in sales, supply chain, and customer service to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.

· Evaluate, implement, and maintain POS, CRM, and ERP systems.

· Develop data dashboards and reporting tools for business performance insights.

· Manage ICT projects from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.

· Develop functional and process specifications and coordinate with third-party vendors for software development, integrations, and system support.

· Conduct user testing, training, and create system documentation and manuals for store and head office staff.

· Provide guidance and support for system-related queries to business and project stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field.

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar ICT role.

· Strong understanding of retail systems (POS, CRM, inventory, and e-commerce platforms).

· Demonstrated experience in business process mapping and requirements analysis.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Hands-on experience with data analytics and reporting tools.

· Knowledge of cloud-based systems preferred.
