We’re seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our high-performing maintenance and production team at a leading metals processing facility in Western Sydney. This is a shift role days and nights on rotation, Monday to Friday — perfect for those wanting consistency and the chance to have a weekend.

About the Role

You’ll play a key part in keeping our modern equipment and processes running safely and efficiently. Working alongside skilled technicians and production staff, you’ll:

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across mechanical plant and equipment

Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements

Support continuous improvement and site safety initiatives

Deliver quality workmanship to ensure production targets are met

Maintain accurate records and comply with all procedures and safety standards

What You’ll Bring

Trade qualification as a Fitter or Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)

Proven experience in a manufacturing, heavy industry, or processing environment

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

A proactive, safety-first mindset and pride in your work
