As one of Sydney's most respected Utility Services contractors, RA Smith Contracting is seeking to engage an enthusiastic, motivated, and free-thinking Civil Project Engineer to its project delivery team.

You will have experience within the Civil Infrastructure environment, ideally with utility installations as a strong part of your resume, and will be looking to develop the next stage of your career within a family-owned business who focus on excellence.

You will flourish in an environment where you are expected to:

Control site activities;

Liaise with Client representatives;

Resolve technical challenges for the betterment of the project;

Effectively manage on-site resources;

Monitor and control costs against prescribed budgets;

Implement management systems, manage and maintain quality records, and ensure the highest standards;

Develop and implement short-term programs to ensure on-time completion; and

Positively contribute to the growth of the business.

You will be degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or other relevant qualification) or have sufficient industry experience to demonstrate competence. You will have at least 4-7n years' on-site delivery under your belt, on relevant scopes of work (Services, concrete, roads, etc.) for known and respected contractors within Sydney and NSW.

Candidates must hold a degree in Engineering or Construction, or possess equivalent industry experience demonstrating comparable competence in civil engineering practices.

You may well have worked in a Sydney Water environment, or projects involving metropolitan or regional Councils so you understand the measured approach required to secure strong outcomes.

You will also understand the importance of ensure you manage assigned obligations, and will be able to demonstrate to us what this means in day-to-day delivery.
