Agathe Patisserie is a French patisserie located in the famous South Melbourne Market; we also have a small outlet in the non-less famous Royal Arcade in Melbourne CBD.
We are looking for a full time pastry chef to join our team.
You will be part of a team of pastry chefs and your responsibilities will be :
Production of all the French pastries and cakes for our shops
Supervision of a team of pastry chefs
Training less experienced team members
Inventory management (ingredients and final products)
We are looking for someone with :
High level of expertise in French viennoiseries and patisseries preparation
Energy and able to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent social skills to be able to get along with other kitchen staff as well as sales staff
Positive can do attitude
You need to have minimum a Cert. III in Patisserie, and a minimum of 1 year full time work as a Pastry chef in a French Pastry Shop or French Bakery.
You will be based in one of our kitchens in South Melbourne.
