With our recent move to a larger yard in Kewdale, we're expanding our team and looking for a skilled Accounts Support Officer to help us manage our financial operations with precision and care.

About the Role
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts who's looking for flexibility and variety. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, supporting the accounts team, and ensuring our suppliers and customers are looked after with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies

Maintain accurate records of purchases and expenses

Assist with purchase order matching and approvals

Accounts Receivable

Generate and send customer invoices

Monitor incoming payments and follow up on overdue accounts

Reconcile customer accounts and manage debt recovery

Support recurring billing and service-related invoicing

General Finance Support

Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking

Support payroll and Super payments

BAS preparation

Maintain digital filing systems for financial documents

Loan creation for assets and reconciliation of amortisation schedules

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure accurate job costing and invoicing for inventory prices

Administrative Support

Support with customer or supplier queries and correspondence

Support with onboarding of new staff

Provide general admin assistance when accounts tasks are light

What You'll Bring

Experience with MYOB, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ServiceM8 is a bonus but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and time-management skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership

Bookkeeping or accounting certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts roles

Good Personality or a Smile!

Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, reconciliations, invoicing, and payroll tasks is required
