Dawson's Garden World has been a successful Garden Centre for over 120 years. We currently have a permanent full-time (5 days) and permanent part-time (2-3 weekdays) position available at our Forrestfield store that would suit a motivated horticulturist.

Qualifications & experience

Certificate II, III, or IV in Horticulture or an equivalent qualification.

Experience in a retail Garden Centre is preferred, but not essential.

Tasks & responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service, including offering recommendations and facilitating sales.

Maintain and merchandise stock to create visually appealing displays.

Identify and troubleshoot pests and diseases.

Operate Point of Sale system (training provided).

Handle telephone inquiries efficiently.

Perform general cleaning, weeding, weed spraying, and pest spraying.
