Retail/Nursery Assistant – Temporary Part Time Summer Job – 15 Hours Per Week

Do you love Water Lilies and Water Plants, do you have an interest in Garden Ponds and Fish. The Lily Farm is looking for a Part Time Retail and Nursery Assistant for immediate start and to assist us over the busy summer months at our Garden Centre located in the Swan Valley.

We need an enthusiastic fast learner. No experience is necessary, however, you do need to be physically fit (15kg lift), enjoy working outside (we work rain, hail or shine) and not be afraid of getting your hands dirty. An interest in gardening is essential and an interest in ponds, aquariums and fish is also highly desirable.

The successful applicant will assist with retail sales of pond equipment, plants and fish as well as the potting of plants and water lilies for our retail nursery. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service so you will need to be friendly and outgoing. Basic computer skills are essential to operate our point of sale system, cash register and search our online store.

Candidates must have valid Australian work rights or appropriate visa to work in Australia.

We require you to be available at the following times between now and the end of April 2026 :

Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:30am to 3pm each day
