Customer Service Officer - SA Government
Location: Adelaide, SA
Pay Rate: $43 - $44 per hour
Hours: Rotating roster across 7 days, 9:00am - 5:00pm

We're seeking experienced Customer Service Officers to support a busy SA Government hotline providing information and assistance to the public. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.

About the Role:

You'll be responsible for managing incoming calls, responding to public enquiries, and accurately recording information within the department's systems. The position operates on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls through the government hotline
• Provide clear, accurate, and empathetic customer service
• Record call details and update systems accurately
• Follow scripts and protocols to deliver consistent information
• Escalate complex matters to senior staff where required

What We're Looking For:

• Previous call centre/customer service experience (essential)
• Familiarity with Genesys or similar data entry systems (desirable)
• Strong verbal communication and data entry skills
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
• Current working rights in Australia
• Current Police Clearance, obtained within 12 months
