About the Role:

We are seeking for a Casual Registered Nurse to join our team! We currently have available shifts in the AM and PM from Monday to Sunday !

You will be based at our Terrey House Nursing Home located at 42 Booralie Road, Terrey Hills NSW 2084.

Terrey Hills House is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high level clinical care to meet resident’s individual care needs that will enhance their quality of life. This includes:

Ensure that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements

Communicate effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives

Provide leadership and supervision of PCWs

Flexible and passionate about aged care

Skills and Experience:

Endorsed by APHRA (essential).

Aged Care experience beneficial

Previous experience as a RN in Australia

Tertiary qualifications in Nursing

Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards

A good understanding of contemporary aged care, clinical practice and clinical leadership in a residential setting.

Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict.

Great communication skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to the team.

Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust.

Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.

Excellent written documentation and assessment skills.

A good knowledge of the aged care accreditation standards.
