About the Role
Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers (Service Technicians) to join our high performing team at our Campbellfield Service Centre. Your duties will include:
Plan, oversee, and coordinate maintenance and repair activities for a wide range of fixed and mobile waste industry equipment.
Identifying and resolving issues related to the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic aspects of the equipment.
Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for improving equipment efficiency, safety, and longevity.
Employing technical diagrams and instruction manuals to facilitate the correct assembly and troubleshooting of equipment.
Design, develop, and oversee fabrication or modification of mechanical components and systems to meet operational requirements.
Conduct inspections and performance tests to ensure all repairs and assemblies comply with quality, safety, and industry standards.
Prepare and maintain detailed engineering and maintenance documentation, including reports, technical records, and compliance documentation.
Responding to break downs as required and where possible return the equipment or vehicle to working order.
Liaise with technicians, operators, and management to provide technical guidance and ensure engineering practices align with company and regulatory standards.
Accurately record all actions taken to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.
About the Benefits
This fulltime position offers:
Above award rates with a base wage of $77,000 to $85,000 (dependent on experience) per annum plus superannuation and allowances

About You
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineer or Equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in field.
Waste industry experience (desirable).
Fault finding experience with hydraulic and electrical equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures and recommend solutions.
HR license (desirable) or willing to complete - company funded.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Commitment to safety and following standard work procedures.
