Facilities and Integrated Support Services at Townsville University Hospital plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, preparedness and operational continuity of healthcare services across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. The EPCM Support Officer contributes to emergency and disaster management planning, training, and governance to support resilient healthcare delivery.

Competitive salary and benefits
  • Salary between $4046.40 – $4402.60 per fortnight (AO5).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
  • Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity

As the EPCM Support Officer, you will help shape the emergency preparedness and business continuity frameworks for Townsville HHS. You'll contribute to training, governance, and incident response planning, ensuring the health service is ready to respond to emergencies and disasters effectively.

Requirements
  • Experience in health service delivery is highly desirable.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in disaster/emergency management are highly desirable.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training is highly desirable.
  • Fire Safety Advisor qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other relevant IT systems.
  • Class C motor vehicle license required.
  • Ability to travel and work outside normal business hours as required.
  • A probationary period may apply.
