About the Role:

This senior role is responsible for continuing to drive growth, profitability, & brand presence across key established & emerging channels. It requires strong leadership, strategic vision, & hands-on execution to strengthen the brand’s position with major retailers, e-commerce platforms, distributors, & emerging channels. You will lead the regional sales strategy, build high-performing partnerships, & deliver ambitious revenue growth while ensuring alignment with the global brand & sustainability values. Together with your in-market team (6), you will build on strong existing relationships with major commercial partners including Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, Adore Beauty, David Jones & Myer.

Melbourne or Sydney-based role, with some travel required.

Reporting into the Managing Director & the Board, your responsibilities will include:

1. Revenue growth Existing channels & segments

  • Grow existing accounts via range, line and distribution extension & where needed defend the current distribution footprint
  • Develop & implement the overall annual sales strategy for Australia to achieve growth, revenue & profit targets
  • Work closely to budget & forecast to own delivery on revenue by week, by month
  • Identify growth opportunities across retail, pharmacy, department store, specialty beauty, & e-commerce sectors

2. Revenue growth New channels & segments

  • Execute go-to-market strategy for new segments, with cross functional plans to ensure pathway to monitoring of sell-out & overall success
  • Own responsibility to deliver on revenue for new channels & segments

3. Team & Leadership

  • Lead & direct sales team (6 direct reports) to deliver on budget
  • Ensure team are operating to a best-in-class level of performance, & ensure customers receive outstanding level of service at every touchpoint
  • Work closely with each team member to pre-plan and build out JBPs for key channels

4. Business partnering & analysis – Quarterly reporting

  • Work closely with CFO for business partnering
  • Implement continuous commercial improvements, EBITDA metrics & growth targets
  • ·Ensure P&Ls are closely monitored & challenged to ensure revenue growth can be reached within the most effective marketing & co-op spend

5. Operational Excellence

  • Work with Supply Chain team to ensure demand planning & inventory align with market needs

6. Stakeholder Engagement / Annual budgets

  • Develop annual budgets & forecast by channel
  • Budgets by week & month are closely monitored to ensure growth is delivered, with scope to mitigate any unexpected shortfalls
  • Monthly budget & market reporting to Board

7. Media / business events / global planning

  • Support the wider company PR team to seek out media & event activations

8. Innovation

  • Keep aware of market trends and innovations, input into product enhancement, add value as senior leader, constantly review ops & markets to ensure max efficiency

What You Bring:

  • You are already based in either Melbourne or Sydney, Australia, with full working rights on a permanent basis
  • A minimum of 15 years’ FMCG beauty industry experience & at least 5 years’ hands-on in a similar role
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, & stakeholder management skills, with proven senior, HQ-level account management experience in the client’s relevant channels (as per above)
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Advanced level budgeting, forecasting and P&L management
  • Absolute drive to succeed
  • Exceptional attention to detail & willingness to go the extra distance
  • Excellent team leadership & development skills
  • Willingness to get into stores, alongside your team, for direct hands-on insights, upgrades & visibility optimization
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced & agile environment
  • Solutions-oriented, with proactive, can-do attitude; genuine team player & strong work ethic
