About the Role
We are seeking a Relationship & Credit Manager to join our dynamic team. The position is responsible for the effective and efficient operational management of the school’s fee assistance processes and program including supporting families with their fee assistance applications, reviewing / analysing applications, scheduling review meetings, managing the electronic fee assistance database, administration, monitoring and reporting on fee assistance levels and compliance.
This is a full-time, ongoing position to commence in December 2025.
Key Responsibilities
Operational management of the fee assistance process and program
Ensure fee assistance applications are completed accurately, fully and on-time
Review and analyse fee assistance applications and recommend proposed fee assistance support with reference to Bialik’s Fee Assistance Framework
Maintain fee assistance files and database to ensure the data is up to date and accurate
Ensure 100% of fee assisted families have at least 1 review meeting by the end of Term 3 each school year
Meet with routine fee assistance families and complete reviews to assist the Fee Assistance Committee with their scheduling and load
Draft communications to families on fee assistance
Support families on fee assistance with identifying and accessing potential government and community financial assistance programs, including those that benefit the College
Operational management and continuous improvement of the fee assistance systems, framework and guidelines
Proactively identify and suggest improvements to the Fee Assistance Committee framework, guidelines, digital online solution and process
Complete the development and, implementation of the digital online solution for Bialik administration, fee assistance families and Fee Assistance Committee to access and manage the fee assistance process
Enhance the current reporting and analytical tools and develop new ones to provide insightful information on the fee assistance program and any issues
Benchmark Bialik’s fee assistance processes with other schools and industries to continually improve Bialik’s fee assistance processes
Operational management of the monitoring and reporting of the fee assistance program
Ensure families comply with agreed fee assistance payment plans and escalate any non-compliances in accordance with Bialik’s fee assistance processes, including debt recovery
Monitor fee assistance family debtor reports regularly
Inform the Fee Assistance Committee on complex cases
Prepare reports and updates as required including analysis and commentary for school financial and dashboard reports
Role Requirements
Relevant Accounting / Finance Qualifications
Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
Previous experience in a service-based industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong writing skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to interpret data to create useful information
