The Event and Program Support Administrator position is based in our Milton office.
About the role
Lung Foundation Australia is seeking an Event & Program Support Administrator to provide essential administrative support across our Clinical Programs, Research & Innovation (CPR&I) team. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), 12-month fixed term contract position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful education and engagement initiatives that support the lung health workforce across Australia.
Working closely with the Senior Manager – Health Professional Learning, you’ll play a key role in the smooth delivery of health professional education programs and events, including the Inhaler Device Technique Training Workshops, the inaugural Australian COPD Symposium (June 2026), and Lung Foundation Australia’s presence at key industry conferences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Program Administration: Provide day-to-day administrative support for the Health Professional Learning Program, including inbox management, participant communications, and logistical coordination of monthly training workshops.
 - Event Coordination: Support the planning and delivery of Lung Foundation Australia-hosted and attended events, including bookings, freight coordination, and preparation of event materials.
 - Committee Support: Assist in the administration of organising committees for major events, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and drafting minutes.
 - Operational Support: Maintain inventories for event and training materials, manage mailouts and stock orders, and ensure accurate data entry and record keeping in Salesforce CRM.
 
About you
You’re an organised and detail-oriented administrator who balances multiple priorities with professionalism and care.
Essential skills and attributes include:
- 1–2 years’ experience in an event support, program coordination, executive support, or administrative role.
 - Proven ability to provide reliable and efficient administrative support to multiple stakeholders.
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
 - Ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, and collaborate across teams.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
 - Ability to learn new systems quickly; familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar platforms highly regarded.
 - Experience in the not-for-profit, health, education, or events sectors is desirable.
