About the role
We're seeking a Learning and Development Advisor to join our team at Metropolitan Memorial Parks. This role will coordinate and deliver day-to-day learning activities, implement and embed our Learning Management System (LMS) and support leaders and employees in adopting new learning practices.
You'll join a dynamic and supportive team for a 12-month contract, working in a hybrid arrangement (4 days onsite at Macquarie Park Cemetery, 1-day WFH) with occasional requirements to work across our other major sites for team / stakeholder meetings and training facilitation support (approximately 1-2 times a month, depending on business needs).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, develop and deliver learning programs across multiple formats
- Conduct Training Needs Analyses (TNA) to identify gaps and inform learning pathways
- Design and develop high-quality instructional materials and digital learning content
- Manage LMS content, learner enrolments and reporting
- Provide training and support to leaders on LMS functionality
- Monitor compliance learning and generate reports
- Evaluate learning interventions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Role Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in a learning and development role
- Demonstrated capability in developing and delivering training across multiple formats
- Sound knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design and evaluation
- Experience in LMS administration reporting and learner support
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Project coordination skills and ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
- Experience in developing or applying capability frameworks or competency-based learning models
- Experience working in compliance, operational or safety-critical environments
- Familiarity with organisational development or change initiatives would be a benefit
- Experience with instructional design, learning pathways and training needs analysis would be an advantage
- Experience with Connex (or similar systems) highly desirable
