About the role

As a Full-Time Driver for Pet Cremation Services at Pet Peace Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate end-of-life care for beloved pets. Based in Thomastown, VIC, this full-time position involves transporting deceased pets from veterinary clinics and pet owners' homes to our cremation facility.

What you'll be doing

Carefully and sensitively collecting deceased pets from veterinary clinics and private residences

Transporting pets in a respectful and professional manner to the cremation facility

Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each pet transfer

Ensuring the vehicle and equipment are well-maintained and sanitised

Providing excellent customer service to grieving pet owners and veterinary staff

Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

A valid driver's licence and clean driving record

Clean driving record with no major infractions in the past 12 months

Full, valid car driver's licence

Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate support

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

Sensitivity and respect when handling deceased pets and interacting with pet owners

A collaborative team player with a genuine passion for animal welfare

Valid work visa or Australian work rights required
